(3D) Natasha Romanoff SADISM is life!

Natasha Romanoff was raised since at least her teens to be a “Black Widow,” an elite assassin and seductress in the infamous Red Room, and served them faithfully until she was captured by Hawkeye rather than be killed as S.H.I.E.L.D. had ordered. Throughout the MCU, she appears distant and flirtatious with almost every member of the Avengers team except Thor and Clint, and there is a strong reserve towards her, showing true vulnerability only with Bruce during the events of Age of Ultron. Interestingly, he is also the only Avenger she seems truly afraid of, as seen by her fear of the Hulk in Avengers when she points a gun at him when confronting him in Calcutta and later when she flees from the Hulk in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet. There are also moments when she appears quite ruthless during a mission, not sadistic, but very cold. We know she has “red in her ledger” from her time as a Red Room operator, and she feels she owes Clint Barton a debt for sparing her and helping her turn her life around, which she repays by dying for the Soul Stone instead of him. I also get the feeling she doesn’t value her life very much, even less than most heroes, though I don’t know where that feeling comes from. Throughout the Winter Soldier arc, I expected a conversation between Bucky and Nat due to their similar pasts of forced service, murder, and loss of bodily autonomy, but it never happened.
